Here are some helpful terrain-making tips–along with some photos and articles of cool terrain.

Our club has built up quite a collection of terrain over the years but there is always room for more. We needed an entrance vestibule for one of our ‘sets.’ The Gaffer (Kon) took up the torch, or rather pick and shovel, to build us a nice entrance. Terrain-oasisA SIMPLE OASIS
This simple terrain piece was designed for Historicon 2013 to help break up the monotony of several desert-themed battles–mostly Crusader vs. Saracen cavalry battles and a small 1930s pulp skirmish game involving Indiana Jones.  (STORY TO COME)


The Surfoam is a necessary tool for any hobbyist who works with insulation form (or other Polystyrene/Polyurethane foam) for building terrain. (STORY TO COME)
